    I want to help the Warrior/Gladiator class to pick their truly desired build/skills as much as possible.
    The reason for this is because I had some regrets of my own through observations and discovery of this current class.

    STATS: will depend on your style

    TANK: STR>VIT / VIT>STR
    -------> These types are for luring bosses/mobs unto themselves while allies free hits. They are the ones who goes in first and splashes skills while using the skill Hard Skin. Must choose all Damage Type Skills.

    Undying TANK: STR>VIT / VIT>STR, DEX 30-40-50
    -------> Recovering HP at it's fullest but the slowest type to grind levels

    ATTACKER/SEMI: Full STR, DEX 20-40, Vit 20-40
    ------->Well-rounded, attacker & defender, very flexible. Significant damage, low def if non-VIT. Must choose DPS Type Skills.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~Notes:~~~~~~~~~~~
    You can get +10 stats due to Passive/Guild Skill Upgrades
    DEX 30+10 = 40 = 40HIT bonus +4 = 44% Chance of landing a Crit, also increases effect of Wr Passive HP Recovery
    Make sure you increase your DEX first so you can benefit from it's Crit all the way.
    I have read many forums and it is suggested that DEX40 Cap is the safest to take, more than that theoretically lowers the chance of landing a Crit.
    Status Point and Bonus
    *All classes are the same
    STR+1 = Min/Max Atk+1
    STR+20 = Min/Max Atk+21 (bonus+1)
    STR+40 = Min/Max Atk+44 (bonus+4)
    STR+60 = Min/Max Atk+69 (bonus+16)
    STR+80 = Min/Max Atk+97 (bonus+25)
    *Same pattern with INT
    Vit+1 = Def+1, HP+20
    Vit+20 = Def+21,(bonus+1) HP+40 (bonus+20)
    Vit+40 = Def+44,(bonus+4) HP+60 (bonus+40)
    Vit+60 = Def+69,(bonus+9) HP+120 (bonus+100)
    Vit+80 = Def+96,(bonus+16) HP+160 (bonus+140)
    Vit+100 = Def+125,(bonus+25) HP+200 (bonus+180)
    Dex+1 = Hit+1
    Dex+13 = Hit+13, MinAtk+1
    Dex+14 = Hit+14, MinAtk+1
    Dex+20 = Hit+21, (bonus+1)
    Dex+24 = Hit+25, MinAtk+1
    Dex+27 = Hit+28, MinMatk+1
    Dex+34 = Hit+35, MinMatk+1
    Dex+37 = Hit+37, MinAtk+1
    Dex+40 = Hit+44 (bonus+4)
    ~~~~~~~~~~SKILLS:~~~~~~~~~~~~
    (Wr) most used skill for Grinding/Levelling
    Slash A: "Gives stable amount of damage holding consuming SP. Can pursuit by adding inputs"
    Slash B: "Laying weight on fire power. Hard to use. Can pursuit by adding inputs"
    Slash C: "Easy to build combos with little rigor. Can pursuit by adding inputs"

    Picking what type is somehow confusing due to it's description. Hopefully they or someone would upload a demo of each type of skill. Moving on.......

    Slash B is slower than Slash C.
    Imagine this:
    Slash B: 1st two slashes takes .5sec ea and it's last slash approx take 1.2sec to hit
    Slash C: 1st two slashes takes .5sec ea and it's last slash approx take .7sec to hit

    Slash B damages higher than Slash A&C so it would be your choice of combo.
    If you're stuck with Slash B and want to go Slash C (like me) well, we have no choice but you can Hit your 1st two slashes then skip(roll) the last slash since it is slow.
    Combo: Ogre Swing-Slash-Roll, repeat. (You have to do only 2skills then roll for you not to be hit by mob)
    Slash A: Update copied summary from Threnody's post.
    no rigor, next skill or roll will launch w/out any delay after the 3rd attack.
    damage-wise, almost nothing around 10-20 additional to your min/max damage,
    the only good thing is the SP-usage, so you can replace your normal attack with it.
    the 3rd slash, rests somewhere between no-change from lvl5 slash,
    its "ever-so-slightly" faster than the normal one.

    (Wr) AoE
    Ogre Swing A: Greatly increased damage on 2nd blow
    Ogre Swing B: Balanced Increase of damage and increase on splash range
    Ogre Swing C: No increase Dmg/Rnge but consumes less sp and fast "rigor"(DPS Type)

    My favorite combo starter. It has 3 hits, 1st shoulder charge, 2nd-3rd sword spin. You can cancel the 3rd blow by only pressing the skill once then following it immediately with Slash or other skills. I chose B.

    (Wr) AoE KnockBack
    Shock Stomp A: "Continuous type with faster cool time and not much chance to get attacked."
    Shock Stomp B: "Range type with wider attack range targeting more enemies"
    Shock Stomp C: "Concentration Type focusing on ranges increasing fire power"

    NEVER pick B t'was my mistake thinking it can pursue the enemy w/ "wider attack range" but it doesn't show. I recommend A for DPS Types and C for frontline type.

    According to Pro Wr/Gls this skill is also a combo starter. It has a knockback effect and easy to connect to the next skill.
    Sample: ShockStomp-OgreSwing-Roll, ShockStomp-FastStab-Slash-Roll, so on and so forth.

    (Wr) AoE Splash
    Flame Burst A: Gives Wider Range
    Flame Burst B: Condenses strength and increases firepower
    Flame Burst C: Widens range and concentrates on firepower, longer cooltime and higher sp consumption

    I chose C to benefit from it's splash and damage.

    (Wr) Best PVP/PVE Skill
    Raider Fang: "Generates a powerful up and down slash quickly"

    (Wr) Chase/Pursuit Skill w/ Knockback
    Fast Stab: "shortens distance between the opponent and gives a violent thrust"

    ***Advanced Job Class***
    Turning into Gladiator will require: 100k JEXP, 40Sharp Crystals, 20Hard Crystals
    Turning into Crusader will require: 100k JEXP, 40Hard Crystals, 20Sharp Crystals
    note: You can change back to warrior anytime that means you can consume JEXP or level it up more.

    (Gl) Passive Skill
    Mad Warrior Sign : "Learn the knowledge for Gladiator and raise basic status"

    Every level it raises a different stat from STR/VIT/DEX

    (Gl) Damage Skill
    Catacraft A: "Wider attack range type to forward"
    Catacraft B: "Fire power type focusing on ranges increasing fire power."
    Catacraft C: "Special type the more it pursuits the more power it increases"

    I chose C. The Damage increases by 50-90 2nd-3rd blow but you have to hit/combo with it to benefit from it's increased damage. If you're not fond of combo hitting then choose B instead. Type A description is not understandable and I don't think anyone chooses type A so just don't.

    (Gl) Not Really Used Skill
    Pendulum A: "Type with improved usage by shortening charge time"
    Pendulum B: "Special type with improved damage to monsters."
    Pendulum C: "Special Type with improved damage to players"

    I don't see a significant damage whenever I charge the skill, it only makes you vulnerable. Also, I only use this just for fun. I picked C.

    (Gl) Damage Skill
    Giant Swing A: "Balance type holding consumed SP and giving stable amount of damage.
    Giant Swing B: "Type meant for continuous usage by shortening cool time"
    Giant Swing C: "Combo type that others can be canceled during rigored time."

    This forward-backward slash gives great damage. I chose B since I need DPS.

    I hope you guys found this useful!

    I'm just curious how about the MEN stat, what's the Status Point and Bonus? And also per level-up, what stats increases per level-up?

    yeah I think I saw a post before that "Rigor" means a delay after the attack.
    so less Rigor means you can chain the next skill faster after using it or you can immediately roll after the skill animation.
    Is that right? :sour:

    pfft~
    Wield Blow B skill for Creators doesn't say anything about that Rigor thingy
    and yet it gave me quite the delay after the skill.
    result, I get hit before I can roll away :arghh:

    Great guide, thanks for taking the time to write this up!

    Anyone have experience with Crusader? I assume Gladiator is the 2-hand specialist class.

    If you don't like one, and want to switch to the other, do you have to grind for crystals again?

    seems like that is the case.
    I've read somewhere that you can change to those two advanced classes as much as you want
    as long as you can provide the crystals to bribe the NPCs

    Hmm...I'm strongly considering Crusader. I love my damage output with 2-hand weapons, but I must admit one-hand looks fun.

    Axes are slightly slower than swords, but if the skills are fast that shouldn't matter much.

    Thanks for the responses!

    well, yeah, but what i'm talking about are the skills that require a specific weapon.
    you know, those with "one-hand sword only" remarks.

    for the sake of research, I present to you, SLASH A
    slasha.jpg

    no rigor, next skill or roll will launch without any delay whatsoever after the 3rd attack.
    damage-wise, almost nothing but, maybe around 10-20 additional to your minimum / maximum damage,
    BUT DON'T COUNT ON IT!
    only thing good with it is the SP-usage, with that, you can just replace your normal attack with it.
    unless of-course you're using normal attack to fake the monster from attacking.
    oh and the 3rd slash, rests somewhere between no-change from lvl5 slash,
    or its "ever-so-slightly" faster than the normal one.

    so that means,
    Slash A is the fastest so it can be substituted to normal attack since it acts like one regarding it's damage and rigor (no delay) and can be rolled/skipped with skill anytime.
    Slash B has the most increased damage although the slowest 3rd slash that can only be skipped after the 1st two slashes.
    Slash C is the balanced type of the Slash A&B

    now that would depend on the playing style of the Wr user.
    I'd still choose C though.. o_O I'll reset my JEXP soon enough.

    Thanks for the research Threnody!! Oh and what's you're IGN again? :woot:
