    Went up against a rogue the other day in pvp no rule map. He told me he don't like my skills as a spiker he couldn't break through. Gunslinger destroyed me though. My thoughts on pvp pro/con; good vs melee dps, poor vs range dps. I'll post updates when I go against warrior types and mage types.

    I disagree, as long as i dont get into gunslinger's aoe, i can win agains them, agains warrior, its hard to fight gladiator with high hp and def, as my atk is a bit slow and some of gl can use brute force to get close to me, and swing some cata till i died, and lastly, almost impossible to fight sniper as they will run away...

    True about the gunslinger's aoe I have a tendency to blitz ranger types so that was my downfall, being too close during the skill.

    Try adding Dex too to help compliment the Spiker's passive
    My personal build for mine is:
    Str 80
    Vit 20
    Dex 20
    Men 20
    I plan on raising my Str to 100

    Went up against a Sniper(lvl66) with my Spiker(lvl60) last night. Was able to beat her easily. I found flanking her and dashing made it easier to get close enough to take her down with minimal damage received.

    No I ment the actual "Dash" Novice Skill that you can get though a small questline (2 quests if remember correctly). Using it to close the gap quickly.

    @SILVERMOON ppl have different play styles, i watched a lv91 spiker beating lv90+ gunners pretty easy. So it depends on who uses the class.
    I can see spiker is a good pvp class cos it can fight likt a GL with a no cd skill (cata). Not mentioning the crits you will make. I might be wrong tho, i havent really sparred with any high lvl spiker.

    the range is already huge, far distance type, i mean, can you even shoot further?
    and the short rigor type sounds nice honestly, has anyone taken that branch? (and now the question that always comes) how much is it altering the skill?

    I took the short rigor type. I've noticed the spear loads quicker IMO but for sure I noticed your not as much of a sitting duck after its thrown I could roll almost immediately afterwards. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong guys.

    normally a skill boost lasts for 5 minutes, with branch C it'll last for 10minutes in total
    it has been said in this thread, that's where I know it from ;) (you know what i am hinting)
