What skills are effected by int?
What does matk do for a ranger?
Does matk have a larger effect once you have an element bowl?

Skills that are affected by int are basically as it says, magic skills.
For all I know, skills that involve use of weapons directly would not be counted as int. So like the throw dagger moves for Ro would not be considered int. For Ra if I were to guess, skills like Charge shot and wide fang would become stronger in damage.

Depends on your build, If you Enjoy Bows then Sniper is the way for you, If you Value Guns and Have your Skills Set for Mainly Guns Gunslinger. Both Advanced Classes Simply Have Set Skills for that one weapon so there is only a Limit as to what Weapons you can Equip, Advanced it means becoming a Definitive one side, One or the Other, Rangers use both Bows and Guns but as a Sn your only limited to Bows and as a Gs you can only use Guns. I hope this Helps and its more than likely to change but at the Moment Thats the Way these two Advanced Classes are used

A newbie ranger here and I use a gun.
I mainly use Multi-shot, Wild Fangs, and Fall Burst.
A couple of questions though for those skills that I find "weird"

1: What the hell does REDUCTION do?
read somewhere that it increases accuracy/hitrate as well together with the
"shortens charge skill" remark. Is that true? If it is, what do you mean accuracy?
There's no "miss" in this game unless you're standing on an elevated area
and your shots won't reach the target...right?

    2: LONG SCOPE
says "firing performance" and "extends some skill range and thrown items"
anyone know what are those "some skill" are?
does it mean that when I buff long scope, Fall Burst grenade will be thrown further?
It'll be a hassle for me coz I consider it a "melee skill" for those guys that managed to get face-to-face with me.

    3: CROW TRAP
is this thing just for fun or someone actually uses it?
Does it work on a boss or on people in pvp?

well even if REDUCTION is really good,
I don't think I'll benefit from it that much since its somehow based on DEX
    and I'm a full STR gunner :(

I started up a ranger character, have it at level 29 now. I find that getting Dex to 30 (so the 5 passive and 5 guild will make 40) and putting the rest in str has been working well for me. I crit fairly often and appear to be doing more damage then some rangers I've seen at my level.

Anyone know? And what weapons do they use?

I am guessing it is something like dual wielding guns?

Are they better than snipers, what is their speciality?

    Thank you!

They can use bow, two hand gun, and dual guns. It's up to you. But i suggest you use two hand gun for massive damage.

Anyone know what kind of skills they use? Are they better than snipers in terms of damage?

Is trap gunner the only ranger advanced class that can dual wield guns? And also, what are the skills, are they any good for aoe damage? Thanks

Dual wield is for everyone as long as you're using a weapon compatible to your job. You can try but you dont have to use dual wield. You need to weapons with same attack power to which will cost you a lot but giving NO additional damage on skills. Better use two hand gun.

    Here are the skills:
    Quick charge (passive)
Reduces the charge time of skill.
    Varistor (active)
Blow away the enemy in front with a powerful fire attack.
    Medical box (active)
Places an orb like item on the ground with a recovery effect.
    Wide Flower (active)
Sets flowers on the ground that cause drowsiness.

you got only 1 direct damaging skill which is varistor. But good thing is you'll have a heal.

Sniper is better in terms of damage, trap gunner is more like of a technician.

Thanks for the info, as I have a ranger who will reach level 50 soon. And I'm considering going for trap gunner, even though I prefer bow. :p

Just a question, what's the effect of wide flowers? Does it slow down or immobilize the enemy?

Thank you for the info! About 2h guns, I don't see them on the stall, how do you get one?

So dual wielding is really just cosmetic? What is the point in buying an expensive second weapon for nothing lol

^Certain classes do benefit from dual wielding.

Examples being Assassin, because his passive dictates that with two daggers, he deals more damage, as well as one of his skills requires that he have 2 daggers equipped. Also classes from the creator tree can benefit from mixing axes and blunt weapons for a more precise distribution of physical and magical attack, since the stats of the dual wielded items average out.

Talking about dual gun, it gives you faster speed on normal attacks. 50% faster (you do 4hits/round with single gun while 6hits with dual). But you wont spend a lot of money just for that since you will be using skills more than normals. And yes, dual wielding is just an aesthetic for SOME jobs.

There are two new categories in stall. Knuckles and two hand guns. Check it out again :) you can loot it on monsters, the same way and chance just like how you loot other weapons.

Makes the enemy asleep+damage. Yes they are immobilized/stunned when asleep.
