See this post. ALCHEMIST/BLACKMITH/ENCHANTER SKILLS
In fact read the whole thread.
thanks... I saw them there after I posted sorry. Don't know how to delete a thread though.
When you can go enchanter? I don't see any obvious answers as to why you would choose BS over EN for any melee build...
Non-elemental group buffs.
But yeah, point taken. It's a similar situation to mages almost exclusively choosing the Lost Speller advanced class for blizzard, the ranged attack with a huge AOE and decent damage.
Sm buffs 40 in its attack buff, En buffs 15...
My ideal creator is En main,Sm attack buff(maybe deff buff sometimes), and alchemist's lost brave.
most str creators see alchemist as useless as it is int based, it is my opinion this is a huge mistake.
Alchemist's skills are not for damage. even with full int your attacks with be very minimal.
The purpose of alch is the same as acid splash(which again most str types ignore) the skills deuffing works by skill level, not by matk.
Therefore str creators will find alch to be almost just as useful as a int creator.
Plus the crafting an alch has is pretty boss.
so... master the smith buff.
Use smith buff, use enchanter element buff, RAAAAAAARRRRR LOTS OF DAMAGE!
i still need en branches and hidden skill for the thread i gotta make
dam i hate the acid splash branch C.. it increases the duration of def decrease debuff but somehow it adds their def.. lol.. iv tested these on monsters instead of gettin my attack higher coz of def decrease somehow my damage has lowered about 30pts of atack.. warning to creators never choose branch C or 3rd.. i cant afford to buy a reskill now.. dam
I think most of it is in here:
Thanks for saying that. I was considering choosing C. Good thing I waited and didn't make a rushed decision.
I would wait to chose... Aleph will be/ is testing different branches.
Let's wait to hear confirmation of this.
Also it could just be a bug they might fix soon.
What weapon does Blacksmith use? Axe or blunt or both?
i see some using one of those weapons even dual wield them but haven't seen one use both so it depends on the player.
One, the other or both. yes.
I am not a "blacksmith" yet I'm an enchanter but i use all three, mainly blunt with shield/ax right blunt left.
I'll rarely use pure ax, only if there is an amazing healer in the party.
In PvP I always use both. Ax right(for crack bind) blunt left(for heals)
I was wondering what blacksmith specializes in. Can they make rings more advanced than origami crane? They say alchemists can make good potions (?) but what about blacksmith?
Rings are set as 100hp and 1vit 2str in one ring, and thats about as advanced as it gets.
Smith makes level 55,65,75 etc armor.
Alch makes first aid pots, anti poison pots, whirlwind pots and a few other things.

All creator-based characters (Creator, Alchemist, Blacksmith, Enchanter) who have the item creation skill can make the the following rings, all of which require a craftsman's hammer as one of the components:
Heart Ring (+HP), made from Red Protect rings and Iron Ore
Star Ring (+SP), made from Blue Defend rings and Iron Ore
Magic Heart and Star Rings (HP or SP bonus, and +1 to a single stat), made from Heart or Star Ring and Magic Powder. These are:
You can combine certain of the magic rings to get an increased HP or SP bonus and combine stats
the standard ones are +1 of each of 2 stats
the "plus" ones have +1 to on of the stats and +2 to the other
The different combinations are int/men, int/dex, str/dex, str/vit (I think that's all of them, I'm not in game to check)
You cannot combine a star ring with a heart ring to get combined SP/HP bonus
Origami Crane is the strongest HP ring you can make at the Synthesis NPC. Creator-type player characters cannot make any of this family of HP or SP rings. That is, the ones created from F2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17 boss drops. Edited to clarify that Creator-type characters do not have a skill that let's them make these kinds of boss rings but they can make them via the Synthesis NPC just like characters of any other class.
Ah I see, thank you for the information Bomackin and Aleph. Much appreciated ^^
I personally use axe and mace. Although my heals are barely enough to keep me alive...the damage with axe + crack bind is worth it IMO.
