Post up your creator build and compare it to others.
THIS THREAD HAS BEEN MERGED BY A MODERATOR TO CONSOLIDATE INFORMATION ON CREATOR
What stats would creators need besides STR? DEX maybe? Would INT raise the effectiveness of some of the skills?
Creator builds depend on your aim.
For example, if you're going to go for Axe skills then I would suggest INT is not as important as STR. But most builds I have seen are with people using Maces which gives a big boost to MDMG so you can use the healing spell. In this case maybe a bit of INT would be useful so you heal more but again, your main attacks with your weapon will be STR based.
It's about finding the happy medium for the build you want.
In terms of DEX, I always try and put about 10 points in to increase critical hits which is always useful.
My advice would be play about until level 20 so you can experiment with different builds to see what you like, and use the free stat/skill resets at the class change vendor.
I'm looking for detailed info and statistics about their new skills.
IE: A rough estimate of their new boost attack and def skills or
the numbrr of times the tomahawk throw hits.
If you have info on the blacksmith or alchemist please post.
Hey ive heard that full dex Creator would be awesome cuz of his stuns im going mace u think putting lots of dex and some str would be good?(ma add in int)
i love my creator its different than the other classes. on top of almost being a tank i can also help my team out. its a valuable part of a party. i hope the higher level creators can help the lower lvls out..that's just my opinion. im only lvl 20 so i haven't gotton far. see you at the top
waiting for a high-lvl creator myself to provide some info
What info are you looking for?
whats the stats? whats the aoe damage like? can the creator be a mob killer? whats the fire bottle skill like? what skills are the best to acquire? what stats? im sorry for so many questions...
lol yeah something like that.
im currently at lvl 25 and im using an axe.
planning to cap DEX at 40 including the passive skill and the +5 from guild.
Then i poured everything to STR.
as far as skills go, just the usual and when i need to heal, i keep a spare mace and use potion mist.
heal is not high though but it helps with the HP regen so i dont need to chug too much pots.
when i say need to heal, its not during a fight.
i just take like a few seconds to pause from killing and refill my HP then i go back to murder ASAP.
oh and for the skills, i decided to go to the physical skill branch.
no bottle-throwing for me.
tried to look for videos of the skills for creator but i cant find anything.
also, i've read about that DEX-type stunner build for creators.
as of now with 40 DEX, the stun rate is showing up.
maybe 1 out of 5 attacks received from monsters activates it,
but that's just me.
hopefully, we can talk to some hi-lvl creators so we can clear some stuff up =(
so the dex only stats wont cut it huh? ive thought about dex and int. only but i havent gotton to the fire bottle skill. i wanted to do a biuld that mob kills; fire bottle, bind and regen. but i would have to be a least lvl 30 before it gave me any significant results and lets face it the other builds start toreally gain steam at lvl 25-27 on the other hand the creator is still caching up on our studies.
yeah I thought about that Thrower-type creator too.
on 6th floor (with that effing fish swimming around)
its like everyone's gaining momentum when it comes to damage, like you said,
as soon as they reach the 25-30 lvl bracket.
with my STR>DEX build, I "kinda" deal the same damage as warriors "WHEN" I crit.
and with rogues on my level, most of the time I see rogues dealing 180-250 crit damage while I deal roughly around 350-ish.
but then again, they move really fast and the skills got around 4-5 hits, while im stuck with a 3-hit main skill.
I'm still unable to reach the Crackbind skill and Im hoping it'll make a difference.
damn. im really hoping that all the effort pays off. i love this class but it cant be another onion knight you know?
found one build for creator (not mine, mine sucks)
so, like, your role for this build is a debuffer/ healing tank/ monster bait
High str and vit
Wield lvl 7
Bone crush 5
Acid splash 6
Potion mist 6
seems like a good build for tanking bosses while debuffing them
and letting the damage-dealers do what they do best.
check this one out
i will thanks!! it sounds promising. ill give you feed back asap.
Lvl 44 creator here, tried both full str and full int (wasted 2m on drill books). Creators are pretty straight forward
I'd suggest either str or int then the mystery hybrid, I haven't tried yet personnaly but here's what I got.
Str going axe with weild blow crack blind you do tons of damage its more than consistent. You do more than a warrior, but you have no multi mobbing skills, so that's where warriors are better, but in a 1v1 scenario str creator will do more. You will have hell training with this build cause he's without a doubt slow as a snail with only 1 single target damage spell. Don't be fooled by crackblind either it hits a lot of monsters but the animation is horribly slow (you would get off 2 weild blows in the same time), with a pretty lengthy cooldown timer aswell. In pvp crackblind shines though it has a crazy range along with the creators active skills you'd hit 15 people at once easily.
Int going blunt with fire bottle, acid splash, heal mist, great support for guilds parties and your team. Single solo training will suck youll do half as much if not less damage compared to full str. You'll have amazing mobbing damage and will train faster than the full str build, but end of the day your just the teams bitch, your damage will be slow inconsistent and just a smidge better than alcolytes. Also other factors of how fire bottle work it throws down a puddle of fire for about 4 seconds, hitting 4 times keep in mind this will be next to useless on bosses due to there jumping across the map abilities and normal mobs moving around.
Str:slow training, more damage than warrior, no good mobbing skills, great boss soloer, incredible dmg allows him to train on higher floors.
Int:Heals less than acolyte, Does more damage than acolyte, Great mobbing skills, levels faster, needs a team.
You, Sir, is a life saver
and yes, I totally agree with the STR type.
its a good thing Wield Blow uses a small amount of SP
so you can spam them till everything's dead.
Highly appreciated, thank you so much
you. are. a. god!!!!! thank you so much!!!!!
actullay used thr rangers easy levelling ability and then switched over.
